Bessie (B.B.) Bergeron-Hernandez and her quilt

About the Piece: This was the second quilt that I created. It is quite a bit more detailed than the first and tood about a month to create. From a distance of about 10-15 feet, the piece appears to be a painting. This piece was created for my grandmother's 100th birthday. It depicts the home in which she was born and raised in Erwinville, Louisiana. Unfortunately, the house was recently demolished. My grandmother absolutely loved the quilt. There is a small frog on a leaf in the lower left foreground at the base of the large oak tree.
