About the Piece: This piece was a (late!) Christmas gift to Carree, my mother-in-law. She and Dave, my father-in-law, have visited with my husband and me many times at our home in California. Their visits are never long enough and it is always too long between visits. They both enjoy the California coast and ocean scenes and I hoped this piece would bring fond memories to mind for them both.

Dimensions: 57" wide x 41" high

Technique: Hand cut fabric pieces. Machine stitched and machine quilted.

Materials used: Primarily composed of cotton fabric though other natural fibers, synthetics and blend fabrics were also used.
