About the Piece: This piece was a Christmas gift to my brother, Jim. Jim has always loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and otherwise enjoying all that nature has to offer. The year 2006 was filled with many blessings for our family and the image of "wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings" seemed to be a beautiful metaphor for those gifts.

Technique: Hand cut fabric pieces. Machine stitched and machine quilted.
