About the Piece:This runner was made for a friend who has given me many, many yards and thousands(!) of swatches of fabrics, including most of the pieces used in this runner. Every other fabric art piece that I have made has contained some fabric that she has given to me. She has greatly facilitated my being able to find just the right piece for any application.

Technique: Hand cut fabric pieces, machine stitched, machine quilted

Materials used: Predominately silk. Some velvet and syhtnetic blend fabrics. Beaded and tassel trims.
